This Privacy Policy explains what data the Discord bot "Rumi" ("the Bot", "we", "us") collects and how it is used.

1. Information We Collect

To provide moderation, anti-nuke, and music features, the Bot may collect and store:

• Discord identifiers — user IDs, server (guild) IDs, channel IDs, and role IDs
• Moderation data — warnings, mutes, bans, and infraction logs issued through the Bot
• Anti-nuke event data — logs of suspicious or destructive actions detected (e.g. mass bans, mass channel deletions, unauthorized permission changes) and the accounts involved
• Server configuration — settings you configure, such as enabled features, whitelisted roles/users, and log channels
• Music session data — temporary queue and playback data while a music session is active (not stored long-term)

The Bot does not read, store, or process the general content of your messages beyond what is required to execute commands or detect moderation/anti-nuke violations.

2. How We Use Information

Collected data is used to:

• Operate moderation, anti-nuke, and music functionality
• Maintain infraction history for server moderators
• Detect and respond to abusive or destructive server activity
• Improve and troubleshoot the Bot's features

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. Data is not shared with third parties except:

• When required by law or valid legal request
• Service providers that help host or run the Bot (e.g. database or hosting providers), under confidentiality obligations

4. Data Retention

Moderation and anti-nuke logs are retained as long as the Bot remains in your server, to preserve infraction history. Music session data is temporary and cleared once playback ends. You may request deletion of your server's data by contacting us or removing the Bot from your server.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect stored data from unauthorized access, but no system is completely secure.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of data associated with your server or user ID by contacting us through our support channels.

7. Children's Privacy

The Bot is intended for use in accordance with Discord's Terms of Service, which require users to meet Discord's minimum age requirement. We do not knowingly collect data from users who do not meet this requirement.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the Bot after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
